If I hit OK, I get "Unable to dismount volume R:" - and the RamDisk GUI still shows the image as mounted, but the drive letter is gone (and, it would seem, contents not flushed to disk). The backup program, however, is likely the thing causing problems! I've Been doing a little bit of investigation - if I try to manually unmount a disk, I get a "Unable to dismount volume R: Perhaps it contains open files or is locked. ![]() I've also configured the ramdisk to save contents every 15 minutes, so I don't have to wait for a full (well, differential ) image save on every shutdown.įortunately, I have automatic backups, so I haven't lost anything due to the save issue. ![]() I'm having these issues as well, Win7-圆4, and with the TEMP environment variables pointing to R:\TEMP (as well as having things like my FireFox profile on the ramdisk).
